Kids Need Roxy.
Roxy Needs You!
Our pawesome volunteers range from high school students to retired couples and working professionals. The opportunities to support our mission through your volunteer hours are just as varied as our volunteers.
Our common thread is a powerful interest in helping children — enabling them to feel supported and comforted at school, in the courthouse, in healthcare facilities…wherever they are.
If your dog has a great disposition, you could make a great therapy team!
And there are plenty of other opportunities for you to get involved without a dog.
Volunteer with a Dog
Grab your certified therapy dog’s leash and join 70+ Roxy teams to “Read to the Dogs,” comfort children at the courthouse, brighten a child’s day at Pedia Manor, and more!
Volunteer without a Dog
No dog? No problem! We have plenty of opportunities for you to help us with social media, marketing, publicity, fundraising, volunteer management, community events, and more!
Lend Us Your Expertise
Perhaps you’d like to help Roxy by sharing your knowledge for a limited time. Provide a consultation, serve as a mentor, or help us solve one problem. We’d love to hear from you!
“Volunteering for Roxy is a heart-warming experience. It is so amazing watching the dogs in action, bringing love and joy into so many hearts.”
— Mary Alice Loeffler and Bliss
