Kids Need Roxy.
Roxy Needs You!

Our pawesome volunteers range from high school students to retired couples and working professionals. The opportunities to support our mission through your volunteer hours are just as varied as our volunteers.

Our common thread is a powerful interest in helping children — enabling them to feel supported and comforted at school, in the courthouse, in healthcare facilities…wherever they are.

If your dog has a great disposition, you could make a great therapy team!

And there are plenty of other opportunities for you to get involved without a dog.

  • Seeing the joy that Katie brought to my students was nothing short of amazing. We always look forward to our bi-weekly visits! Thank you, Phyllis and Katie, for bringing a sense of calmness and happiness into my class!

  • The impact the Roxy Reading program has had on my classrooms has been enormous. It has risen student engagement in reading, promoted positivity and mental wellness, and has consistently been one of the most anticipated events in my classroom. Thank you, Roxy Reading, for making future readers shine bright in CB!

    Alexandra Zucchero, Kutz Elementary

  • It is truly and honor and a priviledge to join Bentley as he naturally offers comfort to others in the courthouse, schools, special community events, and as a Roxy™ Responder. For eight years he has offered joy to others and he receives joy from others.

    Sandy Friter, Roxy Volunteer

  • I am proud to be affiliated with Roxy Therapy Dogs. They strive for excellence in everything they do, hold their volunteers in high esteem, and are a joy to share my time with.
