Roxy™ Founder Honored At Tree Dedication

Diane Smith beside the dogwood tree dedicated in her honor at Gayman.

In November, Diane Smith, founder of Roxy™ Therapy Dogs, was recognized for her positive impact on the children in the community with a dedication of a dogwood tree planted at Gayman Elementary School in Doylestown, PA.

Diane retired earlier this year, but her legacy lives on with Roxy™’s 70 certified therapy dog teams, which serve 3,200 children weekly in the Central Bucks area. Roxy dogs comfort and support children in 120 classes each week in all 23 Central Bucks School District schools, the Courthouse, Pedia Manor, and many other venues—free of charge to the venue and the community. Roxy board members and Central Bucks School District administrators were present to celebrate Diane’s foresight, vision, and dedication and to thank her for her immeasurable contribution to the community.
